Physical Properties
Industrial Applications
Oilfield Injection Water
Primary biocide for controlling sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) in water injection systems. Prevents H₂S generation, microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC), and reservoir souring.
Produced Water Treatment
Treats produced water to control SRB and general heterotrophic bacteria before reinjection or disposal. Compatible with most scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors.
Drilling Fluids
Biocide in water-based drilling muds to prevent bacterial degradation of starch and other organic additives.
Flame Retardant Textiles (THPC)
THPC is a durable flame retardant for cotton and cotton-blend fabrics. Reacts with cellulose to provide wash-durable flame resistance.
Cooling Water Systems
Controls biofilm and Legionella in cooling towers and recirculating water systems. Effective at low dose rates.
Paper & Pulp
Slimicide in paper mill white water systems to control biofilm and slime-forming bacteria that cause sheet defects.
Safety & Regulatory
EPA-Registered Biocide
THPC and THPS are registered biocides. Use in accordance with EPA label requirements. SDS and registration information available upon request.
