What Is Toll Blending?
Toll blending — also called contract blending or custom blending — is the process of manufacturing a chemical product to a customer's specific formulation, using a third-party facility rather than producing it in-house. The customer owns the formula and the finished product. The toll blender provides the equipment, labor, raw materials handling, quality control, and packaging.
For businesses that need a blended chemical product but don't have the blending infrastructure, volume, or regulatory setup to justify doing it themselves, toll blending is the practical answer.
