Industrial Applications

Boiler Water Treatment

Controls scale and corrosion in steam boilers. Reacts with calcium and magnesium hardness to form non-adherent sludge. Maintains alkaline pH to prevent corrosion.

Industrial Cleaning & Degreasing

Heavy-duty alkaline cleaner and degreaser for metal surfaces, concrete, and industrial equipment. Saponifies fats and oils for easy removal.

Food Processing Equipment

FCC-grade TSP approved for cleaning food-contact surfaces. Effective against protein soils, fats, and mineral deposits in dairy and beverage plants.

Water Treatment & pH Control

pH buffer and corrosion inhibitor in municipal water treatment. Sequestrant for calcium and magnesium in process water systems.

Textile & Leather Processing

Scouring agent and pH regulator in textile processing. Removes natural waxes, oils, and sizing agents from raw fibers.

Concrete & Masonry Cleaning

Removes efflorescence, grease, and stains from concrete, brick, and masonry surfaces before painting or sealing.

Safety & Regulatory

NFPA Health2 — Moderate hazard (alkaline)
NFPA Flammability0 — Minimal hazard
NFPA Reactivity0 — Stable
OSHA PEL (TWA)No established PEL
ACGIH TLV (TWA)Not established
DOT Hazard ClassNot regulated
Skin/Eye HazardCorrosive to skin and eyes — use PPE
Aquatic ToxicityModerate — can cause eutrophication in waterways

Strongly Alkaline — Handle with Care

TSP solutions are strongly alkaline (pH 11.5–12). Use chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. SDS available upon request.
